Get Creative!

For all the crafters out there in the world, what inspires you to create the things you do?  For me, it's just about everything! The other day I was watching the 80's movie "Pretty In Pink", which is one of my favorite movies of all time. When Molly Ringwalds character came out of her room wearing the pink prom gown she created, I just knew I wanted to add more pink into my boutique collection. Just a simple scene in a movie, really inspired me to create!

I dislike when people say "I wish I was creative." You ARE creative!! Creativity, I believe, is in all of us! You shouldn't ever be scared to showcase what you are imagining! I know some people think that people wouldn't like their ideas, but you'll never know unless you try! If I didn't jump into this boutique business, I would never have know how fun it could be and how much happiness it has brought me. Being creative is not hard. It just takes an inspiration, an idea and the courage to make it happen!
